アリババ創業者であり、中国最大のオンライン決済プロバイダーAli Payも傘下に持つアリババ創業者のジャック・マー（Jack Ma）
これまで彼がビットコイン・仮想通貨・ブロックチェーンに関して公言しているソースはあまりないのですが、動画をいくつか見かけたのでまとめます。
2017年11月5日にベトナムで行われた学生向けのイベントにて、観衆からビットコインについて質問され以下のように答えています。

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of bitcoin. But I pay special attention to the cashless society, blockchain technology. Bitcoin, the thing I want to know is that what value, what things that bitcoin can bring to the society. But, behind the bitcoin, the technology itself is really powerful. So, my job and Alibaba/Alipay's job is trying to make sure that we will move the world into the cashless society. The society can make everybody equal, make everybody inclusive to get the money they need, and making sure it's sustanabel, inclusive and transparent.
[中略]..Bitcoin, we watch it very carefully, I will not say I'm a fan of big, I'm also always as curious as you are. I don't think I'm an expert on that, I don't pretend I know. There's one thing that I wanna share with all of you one day when you do business or whatever. If you don't know, it's not shameful, but if you don't know but pretend to know, it's shameful. I don't know about bitcoin.
ビットコインを支える技術（はっきり言っていませんが、ブロックチェーンのことでしょう）には注目していると言った上で、ビットコインについては、アリババとして注視しているものの個人的に「ファンではない」「よく知らない」と言っています。
ただ、キャッシュレス社会を目指してアリペイにかなり注力していることはここでも強く発言しています。
しかし、アリペイを通して、世界のオンライン決済プレイヤーに出資なども行いキャッシュレス社会を作り上げようとするジャックマーがビットコインに関して調べ尽くしていない訳がないので、ビットコインは実際には脅威/競合に思えているかもしれないと感じました。

Honestly, I know very little about it, I'm totally confused. even if it works, the whole international rules or laws on trades and financials will be completely changed. I don't think we are ready for that....[中略]...We have a team Blockchain technology. We spent a lot of efforts on blockchain technology for developers. But bitcoin, I say "not for me". We are not focusing on bitcoin, we are focusing on cashless society.
こちらでもビットコインに関してはよく知らないとした上で、仮にワークすると世界の取引や金融のルールや法律が完全に変わってしまうかもしれないが、「まだ我々の世界はreadyではない」と答えています。
また、ブロックチェーンに関しては専門のチームがあり、かなり研究を進めていることを明かしています。ブロックチェーン上でAlipayと連動させたサービスやトークンを発行することは大いにあり得るかもしれません。
